There was talk of possible tornados and high winds as well. Luckily the heavy stuff kept away till after he landed. I thought I got there early, as I sat down to wait, they opened the hangar doors and [...] How crazy these last few days have been since I found out hubby will be home a few days early! I can’t believe he will be home around this time, 7:00pm tomorrow evening. I am just about finished running around like a mad woman but every time I sit down, I think [...] Hubby is finally coming home on Friday!! That could always change, even at the last minute but we don’t expect anything to change the day. It feels so good knowing he will be home in just days. These past 6 months have actually flown by compared to our other deployments over the [...] There is nothing like a little disappointment around the end of deployment. Something big or small, it still feels the same…at least to me. Yesterday we found out the return date my hubby had been given was not when he is coming home. He will be coming home several days later.
We are finally at the end of this deployment…9 days, give or take a day maybe. I am so excited! This past week was not a bad week really, just the usual…lack of sleep, being antsy and wanting him home. Everybody is all excited, getting ready for Thanksgiving, the only reason [...] Well this past week seemed to move by faster than other recent weeks! We are down to only about 2 weeks left of this deployment! It’s about time for it to be over I was not any more busy this past week but it seemed to go by faster. We got tentative [...] I have been terrible at blogging since I returned home from visiting my love! I want to blog, I’ve just been feeling blah and I am antsy, excited and just wanting hubby home. Good news on my cousins son Gideon, the 6 year old whom had a brain tumor. As I stated [...] What a slow week it has been, I am so happy to be done with this past week. I knew time would move incredibly slow at this point. I am antsy. I have some good news about my cousins son Gideon! I am happy to report that he made it through surgery [...] I think it is about time for a recap of deployment due to recent events,lol. I am done, we are done…so done with deployment. We are at the home stretch now and it is just a few weeks away till hubby is back home. Time is really slow moving now. One week [...] Well I am now back home! I got back late Sunday night and have mixed feelings about being back “home”. Home is where my heart is and my heart is not here, it’s in another country. I must say I am feeling blah and a bit down right now.
