You Take My Breath Away

www.thesocialfrog.comToday, I am again continuing my story of my trip to El Salvador in October 2009, while my hubby was stationed there for a 6 month deployment. Follow me as I look back and finally publicly post all the things I hand wrote while there. To get caught up to speed you must read PART 1, PART 2 & PART 3.

Now that you are all caught up, I hope you enjoy the next part as well:

I exit the airport and am instantly confused. There are a sea of faces but none are my love. I get bombarded by Spanish speaking people, wanting me to buy things or they offer me a taxi ride.

Fear wells inside me, I am not sure where to turn. The man who was helping me is still inside looking for that other person. I had to stop moving & think clearly. I decided to turn right, towards the massive sea wall of people, hoping later I would not regret it.

I saw him. He was looking high and low for me. I just looked at him for a second. I was really there and so was he. I yelled his name and instantly got his attention. He is so cute, just as I remember seeing him look like when I turned my back to him, walking away, after saying good bye not looking back, almost 5 months ago.

His blue eyes say more to me than any words could. It is sweet. We kiss. We hug. I then realize it is freaking hot and muggy out! Lots more kisses and gazing into each other’s eyes on the ride back to the hotel.

I am so happy, relieved to be back in his arms.
