Synopsis
My Thoughts
This series just keeps getting better! This is book #3 in Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. I love that in this book there is a cooking competition and the fact that I seem to not be able to guess the killer, I get close but then it’s not it in the end.
Angie & Melanie are invited to a baking competition and one of Mel’s mentors happens to be a judge. Olivia who owns a rival bakery is also in the competition when all of a sudden Mel’s mentor is found dead in a freezer.
Mel & Angie set out to find the truth, in doing so they bring danger upon themselves! Was it an accident or murder?
I love how the characters progress in each book, the plot is wonderful and keeps you interested! I highly recommend this book, this series. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries or culinary mysteries this series will grab your attention.
I Give This Book

Sounds like a great book!

I just finished “Death by the Dozen” last week. I enjoyed it so much I immediately picked up the next book, “Red Velvet Revenge”. Which was also good. I agree, I do think the series has gotten better over time. I neither loved, nor hated the first book in the series. Thought it was just okay. But I read the second book for a reading challenge and thought it was much better. I hope you enjoy it too.

I’m always up for a good book.
I’m reading an interesting one right now about firefighters. Seems to have the right balance of work, romance, etc and not too sappy.
