But, when Vic’s dead body is found inside a freezer truck, Mel and Angie will need to use their best judgment to find the cold-blooded killer or they may lose more than the contest- they may lose their lives.

My Thoughts

This series just keeps getting better! This is book #3 in Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. I love that in this book there is a cooking competition and the fact that I seem to not be able to guess the killer, I get close but then it’s not it in the end.

Angie & Melanie are invited to a baking competition and one of Mel’s mentors happens to be a judge. Olivia who owns a rival bakery is also in the competition when all of a sudden Mel’s mentor is found dead in a freezer.

Mel & Angie set out to find the truth, in doing so they bring danger upon themselves! Was it an accident or murder?

I love how the characters progress in each book, the plot is wonderful and keeps you interested! I highly recommend this book, this series. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries or culinary mysteries this series will grab your attention.
