Welcome to the A To Z Blogging Challenge for the month of April. I’ve not participated in anything like this before but thought it might be fun. I’ve decided to go with a “theme”. My theme is Japanese. I currently live in Japan and I thought it would be interesting to pick a word or place and ”teach” it to you in Japanese.
No In Japanese Is: Iie
Japanese Symbol For No: の
Iie is not a word I use often in Japanese. I honestly can not think of one time since we’ve moved here that I’ve used it. I use hai much more often which means “Yes” in Japanese. I guess as we are more out in the community there may come a time for me to use it but have a hard time thinking of when I would…I guess maybe when we out to eat and they offer me something I do not want? Haha, who knows. I am sure it will come in handy one of these days.
