Deployment: Day 12

I was up early again this morning, I went to bed “early” last night, with a raging head ache and I was just plain exhausted. I got quite a bit done this morning, I feel accomplished today.

The weather is in the 100’s and sunny, perfect weather for staying inside! At least that is what the weatherman said. It is hot though and it is not enjoyable to stay out any longer than one might need to.

It is a good day to watch a few movies and maybe sneak in a little nap. I just finished watching “16 Candles”, I love this movie and I can watch it over & over again. Here is one part I laugh at in this move.

While I watched the movie I played a little The Sims 3. Now another movie I love is on it is “Joe Verse The Volcano”. Have you seen this little gem? I have been surprised over the years to find that many have never even heard if it. If you have not seen it, go buy it, it’s worth it! Here is a clip from this movie.

I guess I did not mention that I got to talk to Daniel last night, another late in the evening call. Does not matter to me what time he calls, but that he DOES call.

I was a bit annoyed with some people(s) in the upper apartments for half of the day. They decided to open their windows and let their dogs bark incessantly. I know how hard it is to keep a dog quiet when they bark at any kind of movement, but this was ridiculous and it was like 3 different apartments. I would have pulled my hair out being in any one of the apartments, I would have to tell my dog to stop or close the window.

Today I noticed how some people are not so helpful, actually I’m growing more accustomed to this. Maybe it is the hot heat that turns smart people into well…lets just say maybe a little lazy. I guess I should not expect someone to know something, especially if it has to do with their job, something they are supposed to be able to help me with under normal circumstances. I am forgiving though.

I am really getting sick of the daily head aches but I have only had them daily, on this level since Daniel left, so I am not worried about it yet. For the rest of the day I am not sure what I will be doing. Well, reading is one thing and playing with my pups of course. I think I might take a short nap in hopes this head ache will pass. And the highlight of my evenings are talking to my lover!

I Love You Daniel
