My Question This Week Is:
Do you fear there might ever be nuclear war?
My Answer Is:
Yes, I do. What I worry most about is that no one will be prepared for it either, including myself. My husband and I talk about it often sometimes and talk about what we might do if in fact it ever happened. I hope it never happens but the state our world is in, is VERY scary and feels like it could go bad very quickly.

I think 911 really burst my bubble of feeling safe. I know at some point something will happen… nuclear attack, terrorist attack, etc. I worry the most about what I can do to help/protect my children.

I don’t worry about nuclear war so much, though it is concievable. At the moment I’m much more worried about living under a dictatorship and possibly facing civil war . . . it feel like we’re heading there.
There is no way to really be prepared for these things, but we do have food storage and are learning to garden and be more self sufficient. We also have a great network of friends to rely on.
I try not to worry about that because I can’t do anything to change it if it would happen. But yes I do worry & i worry about the environment.
Hmm i don’t know .. i don’t think i think of that.. but i definitely hope it will never be the case.. dying suffocating definitely must suck.. nuclear war or not:P

I think about it sometimes but I try not to dwell on it. I have a feeling it will happen one day after my lifetime and I worry about my kids’ future.

I do have that small fear in the back of my mind. But, I worry more about terror attacks, like car bombs or dirty bombs, etc. It’s so sad that we live in a time where we have to fear such things. When I was in high school, we had to read the book, ‘On The Beach’ (about a nuclear war) and it scared me so much.

Yes I do. I have thought about what I am going to do to keep you safe. All I can hope for is that I’m either close to you or right next to you when it happens. Nuclear war is a possible reality, it’s as real today as it was in the 50’s and 80’s. The only difference is that the weapons are much bigger.
no i don’t worry about it. i really try not to worry about things i cannot control. you know that reminds me. when i was a child in elementary school we used to have to sit under our desks with our hands covering the backs of our necks every monday at one in case there was a nuclear war, we’d be ready. idiots.

I believe in the Biblical telling of how the world will end, so I’m not worried about that. It could be part of it, and I’d hate to be there if it was, but it’s not something within my control. It’s loosing my keys that freaks me out *grin*.
