New Weekly Column

I love baking. I aspire to one day have my own bakery. My desire to bake goes way back. My Memmier (grandmother) has always loved to bake and cook. I used to watch her, she used to teach. Same thing with my mother. My mother always seemed to be making apple pie’s!

I do not enjoy cooking like baking. I feel that when I bake, I am creative, alive. Sounds odd maybe, but I get a lot of joy from it. I love to bake cakes & cookies for other to enjoy! I just made some Cappuccino cookies for my new friend Bee & her hubby Sarge.

So I’ve decided to do a Wednesday weekly column here on my blog called “Baking With The Social Frog”.

Here is my button. If anyone wants to join in, you are more than welcome. What I will be doing is baking something once a week and posting on Wednesday what I have made. Pictures and the recipe will be put up. I might give some tips and maybe something else here and there BUT it will be all about baking. There might also be a post or two that I do candy making as well.

If you feel like joining in, put my button in your post and link back to my blog and let me know in a comment and give me the link so I can come see or others see what you have made! Make sure to at least put up a recipe if you do not want to do pictures as well. If no one else does it, thats fine, you can come by here every week to see what I have made.

So tomorrow (Wednesday) will be the 1st column so I hope you come by and see what I have made.
