My Question This Week Is:

What Is Your Favorite Electronic Gadget? Examples; Your phone, iPad, iPod…ect.

My Answer Is:

I honestly have to say my Nintendo 3DS! In close 2nd would be my iPod-Touch. I got the Nintendo 3DS for Christmas and just recently got around to playing with it. I am a gamer, yes…even at 32 and I love it. I see the 3DS as more for adult rather than children. Here in Japan I see people of all ages walking around with them.

My Question This Week Is:

What Is One Thing You Enjoy Doing In The Fall?

My Answer Is:

Apple Picking! If there was only one thing I could do in the fall time apple picking would be it! I have such fond memories of growing up & family outings to apple orchards. We would spend hours walking and collecting apples, then we would all gather and play games, usually football or something and then we would eat yummy things the orchard would be selling like cider or fresh-made donuts & anything apple you could think of! This went on for MANY years. Groups of family members still try to get out together but of course people like me have moved away but I will always remember apple picking as a close family fun thing! I’ve not been able to go apple picking in years, no such thing in Texas or where we lived in Florida. Happily there is apple picking here in Japan and it goes on till mid November! We are planning on going next weekend as long as the weather is not rainy.

My Question This Week Is:

Do you like to bake bread? If so, do you use a bread machine or do it all by hand?

My Answer Is:

I LOVE to bake bread, breads of all kinds. I use both methods. Sometimes I will use my bread machine but the results are not always satisfactory to me. I actually enjoy making it all by hand as well, kneeding dough for 10+ minutes is good for the soul, lol. I own just a Sunbeam bread machine, nothing to fancy but works…kind of,haha.

My Question This Week Is:

What is one present that you would like for Christmas this year? If you do not celebrate Christmas, tell me one present you would like to receive on a day or holiday you celebrate?

My Answer Is:

One present I would like to get this Christmas that is on my list is a Tea Set. I love drinking tea, both hubby and I do. I’ve never had a formal set though, which I know I would enjoy. I am also excited about being able to experience different kinds of Japanese teas when we move to Japan and would like to use a nice set.

My Question This Week Is:

When do you start to think about Christmas, or buying gifts or decorating?

My Answer Is:

It seems that right before Halloween I really start to think about it, wanting to look at decorations, listen to Christmas music. However, we do not start Christmas shopping till Black Friday and that is also the time we get our Christmas tree. This year we are planning on buying our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving instead of wait till the next day, lol.

My Question This Week Is:

Can you speak any foreign language? If so, which one(s). If not, is there one you would like to learn?

My Answer Is:

I currently only remember several words of French, but we just found out a few days ago that our next military move is to Misawa, Japan. So I think it would be a good idea to try to learn some Japanese, at least the basics. Then maybe when we get there we can take a class or something.

My Question This Week Is:

What do you think of the British 17 year old who sent an e-mail to President Obama and called him a prick? Do you believe that it was the right thing to do, to ban this teen from ever being able to come to the United States?

If you are not familiar with the story, you can read it HERE.
My Answer Is:

I do not condone calling anyone names and this teen obviously made a mistake but I think it is incredibly ridiculous that he is banned for life from visiting the United States because he called the President a prick. I am sure President Obama has been called worse names to his face by Americans and you don’t see them being banned or punished. So in my opinion I think it was a major over-reaction and should be retracted.
